If you have been following me, you must have got a fair idea of how much I love ethnic fusion styles! They are fun, edgy and at the same time traditional and this is what makes Indowestern a perfect blend of both the fashion worlds.
Being an ardent Indian fashion lover I like to experiment with Indian styles with some unique flavor! So this time I tried the Indowestern route for street style. When we think of street fashion it is always western outfits which come to our minds. But since we are Indian, we must try to incorporate Indian style in everything we wear, well at least I love to do so!
I love to add Indian elements in form of different silhouettes or prints or jewelry or any form of Indian accessory which keeps me close to Indian roots.
Here I am wearing an ikkat print bright cotton hi-low kurti with a grey dhoti salwar. A contrasting combination which has my heart! I wore some ethnic gold tone necklaces for adding a bohemian vibe to this Indowestern look. A pair of flower print juttis completed this street style Indowestern look!
I love how easy yet festive this look is! You can wear it for a normal outing with friends or even to a special occasion.
Style tip: If you want to dress down this look a bit more, remove necklaces and go for a pair of silver earrings, add a belt to add some shape to the outfit.
