Colorblocked Spring Style For Valentines!

I am back and this time sooner with another blog which is a Spring cum valentines look book! Sometimes I feel valentines is overrated but then when you grow old you tend to feel so. I still remember it was craze during our college and school days with every girl expecting a card or a rose. There was no fashion police for valentines though! But today everything is about dressing properly for an occasion which is good in a way that it makes you feel good about yourself.

Valentines is also the time when spring sets in and the feel of blooming flowers and bright colors takes upon everyone’s mind. I am definitely a flower child as I love everything that has a floral print on it. Be it clothes, bags, shoes, crockery or home furnishing I am just crazy for florals. Also, valentines and spring is a time to wear bright colors like pink, red or any other color which shows your vivid side.

So, this look book is an amalgamation of bright colors with spring flowers which is my take on a spring valentines style! Also, this is the first time after the baby that I am wearing a proper dress which brings me to the realization that I need to start working hard to get fit and back in shape. But for now, let us focus on what I am wearing here!

A red color floral print strappy A-line dress with tie up and a purple color sweater for a striking color blocking. I love the silhouette of the dress it looks flirty and feminine. Red and purple is such a unique combination and absolutely a new spin for a valentines date. Grey ankle length boots, bohemian silver earrings, and open hair were my finishing touches here. I really loved the burst of colors here (though only two) which makes this look perfect for a spring brunch or a valentines date.

Share what are your plans to wear this valentines and how you find my look here!

Style tip: Go for bolder prints in colors like green, purple, yellow, red or pink.
