Hello Everyone, it has been sooo long! It took a pandemic to come to my website and write (lol). I was kind of lacking motivation to write on my website because honestly speaking the readership has gone down for fashion blogging and everything is now about visual aesthetics.
But recently I thought that I must get back to my website at least for the sake of my writing skills. A blogger must keep writing and improving! So hopefully from now on I will be more regular in penning my thoughts about fashion or the styles I create!
Getting back to what I am writing about is converting your classic white kurta into different chic attires. Since there is a need to repeat and rewear outfits for more conscious and sustainable fashion. Hence the concept of styling or wearing an outfit in different ways makes absolute sense! And also it is light on the pocket! So here it goes!
Look 1 – The white kurta is paired with black pants, a belt is added to give it a more defined look. Sleek open hair, a pair of heavy pearl kundan earrings, embellished purse and black pumps are beautifully finishing this simple yet chic look. I would like to wear this look to a night party or may be even a formal day affair!
Look 2 – I gave an interesting twist by layering the kurta with a black pencil skirt. The little fabric peeping out from bottom gives it a flounce dress effect. To make the outfit more cohesive, I added a silver belt. A beautiful kundan emerald necklace, a chain-strap bag and black sandals make this look perfect for a party.
Look 3 – This one was pretty interesting! I was not understanding what to do about the third look so this idea was very impromptu and worked perfectly. The kurta was layered with a black tulle skirt and kurta was pull up and out. It was further belted to create a peplum effect top. A pair of sparkling tassel earrings, bold red lips, sleek bun, silver clutch and black pumps made this look an absolute dazzler!
I particularly loved the last one! Which one did you like? Comment below!
