A gypsy woman always struck me as being rebellious, mysteriously deep, messy and passionately romantic. I can keep staring at their pictures endlessly. Their dresses speak volumes of who they are and sets them apart from the ordinary.
Frida Kahlo, the great artist, known for her self portraits, had a very unique and individualistic gypsy style. Her portraits depict the depth of her personality. She has been an inspiration for many designers, so I took some inspiration and tried to infuse it with my style.
I added some Indian elements in my look. A white embroidered kurta with a multicolored flared skirt, a rose headband and lots of silver tone jewellery. A bright lip shade to finish my look.
This is a soulful look for me, adding some depth and mystery to my personality.
I hope this look will inspire you to discover the gypsy woman in you.
Like Frida said, “I am my own muse, I am the subject I know best. The subject I want to know better”.
Style tip– Keep the makeup minimal, when going for a gypsy look.
